Hello everyone,

As I continue to investigate raising my vibrations through meditation, astrology seems to have crept into the equation. Apart from avidly reading my horoscope through my teens and twenties, I have never really paid attention or taken it seriously.

This past week marked the Lion’s Gate Portal. This happens once a year when Sirius is closest to the earth and aligns with the sun, and is supposed to be a very propitious time in the year.

In July I attended an online Intuitive Tarot workshop, hosted by David Khan and Yvonne Power, which was wonderful.
I know, I know, what does this have to do with vibrations and Lions? Well, David Khan is someone who has explored the mystic world, which, when combined with his musical talent, has led to the creation of many therapeutic soundscapes. To celebrate the Lion’s Gate Portal this year, he created an online session which was billed as a Frequency Attunement. Why not, thought I, and as I had experienced nothing like it before, I signed up.

It was a truly memorable experience, run by David Khan and Vanessa Holliday, and lasted about an hour. By the end, it felt like my entire auric field was vibrating. I found it truly amazing and if you are at all interested in how listening to different frequencies can impact your vibrations, I highly recommend it.

The concept of treating people and illnesses with sounds and vibrations seems to be a popular approach at the moment. I recently watched a video with Andi and Jonathan Goldman, who promote the use of conscious humming as a stress relief tool. It put me in mind of the Om meditation chants and the Solfeggia frequencies in medieval chants and hymns. I may just give it a go, if I can get past the thought of looking silly…

She provides lots of resources and free support, alongside her other offerings. Her Tedx talk given in 2019 is worth a watch, as is the one she gave in 2014. If you are in crisis however, please seek professional help, this is not to replace medical or psychiatric care, be safe.

This seems to have gotten a little deep this week. I hope you are still there. This next fortnight, I am planning to connect with my angels and guides and get some painting done. I haven’t made time for my art since we moved house and I miss it, more on this next time.
