Hello Dear Friend,
How are you doing this week. Apologies for being completely British, but it has finally stopped raining here. Honestly it has been biblical recently, but as I write this the sun is shining and there are blue skies overhead. That’s it, thats my British need to talk about the weather out of the way… lol
Seriously though - how are you? I hope you are well and that life is treating you kindly. I came across this quote recently and wanted to share it - just in case you need to hear this -
“We are meant to live in joy.
This does not mean life will be easy or painless.
It means that we can turn our faces to the wind and accept that this is the storm we must pass through.
We cannot succeed by denying what exists.
The acceptance of reality is the only place from which change can begin.” –
Angel Hierarchy - Seraphim
Why Hierarchy?
The word Hierarchy comes from the Greek hieros which means ‘sacred’ so hierarchy means ‘government of sacred things.’ It makes me think of a corporation, or similar organisation. Which would make the angels we feel around us the shop workers, or the equivalent of your friendly local barista, fueling us up with divine love and hope. Don’t forget as I always say, the more you pay attention, the stronger your relationship and bond will become - do you think that would work with the local barista too…
The Seraphim are the highest in the hierarchies and choirs, which means that these beings are the closest to the Divine Source of Light and Love. Their name drives from the Hebrew word saraph meaning ‘burning one’. They not only bathe in the Divine Light, but also purify the other angels with fire, whilst producing Divine Energy and commanding the lower angels. The Seraphim are also reported to have six wings - ‘Each one had six wings: with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.’ (Isaiah 6:2)
The named Seraphim are as follows:
Seraphiel
Jehoel
Metatron
Uriel
Nathaniel
Kemuel
Satan before his fall.
The Seraphim are also reported to be the beings who chant ceaselessly ‘Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory’ as they circle the Divine Throne. It may seem like a very strange way to clebrate the Divine Power, but according to Malcolm Godwin in his book, Angels, An Endangered Species this chanting ‘is actually a song of creation, a song of celebration. it is the primary vibration of Love. It is a creative, resonating field of Life'.’ This ties in with the explorations into vibrations in the world, and the fact that everything on earth resonates at a different frequency. Quite often we are told that in order to contact our angels, our spirit guides, our deceased loved ones, we need to ‘raise our vibrations’, and indeed the higher spiritual realms are often spoken of as being layered. The higher the vibration, the higher you are on this spectrum. Does this mean that there is a chance of being in contact with the Seraphim and the higher orders if only we raise our vibrations enough? What are your thoughts on this?
Elizabeth Gilbert Tour
The wonderful Elizabeth Gilbert is doing a European tour, visiting London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Southampton, and Amsterdam. There is also a two-day retreat for one of the London dates, a bit beyond my pocket what with the traveling costs, but Southampton might be doable…

My favourite book of hers is *Big Magic.
