Hello Dear Friend,
Welcome to another Sunday missive, it is lovely to be here with you.
I want to start by addressing something I realised just after I hit send last week… In my haste to send out your letter, I forgot something vitally important.
I forgot to say how grateful I am that you are here. How much it means to me that you read these letters every week, that you comment to share your thoughts and that you leave a like on the post.
Every time you interact with my missives it always makes me smile.
So thank you.
Thank you for being with me while I ramble on about the weird and wonderful things I observe in this world. Next week is my 100th Sunday Letter, wow, thank you again for witnessing the journey I have been on trying to get my thoughts out in the world. I shall have to think of something special for next weekend.
Feedback from Last Week.
Speaking of leaving comments on the posts, there were some lovely ones last week:

Each morning, I write out one gratitude and one success. It sets the tone for my day. In December, I burn the "lists" in a fire on the Winter Solstice as a remembrance of the year's blessings.
I love this idea, it speaks to me of returning all the positive energy contained within those lists of gratitudes and success, returning it all back to the universe to work its magic all over again, because as we all know, energy is never destroyed, only transmuted.

I struggled with gratitude for a while. Too preachy, too many negative connotations, something like that. Once I reframed it as appreciation it made far more sense.
Linda picked up on my reflection that ‘gratitude’ has become a little icky over the past few years, reframing gratitude into appreciation makes it a much easier concept to grasp and work with.

The gratitude jar is a brilliant one. I'm thinking I could incorporate a written version into my daily journal maybe.
I like the idea of a gratitude or appreciation jar, somewhere to log all the happy events and memories which slip too easily through our fingers, while the darker moments tend to stick to us and clog us up.
Did you have any epiphanies when contemplating gratitude? Have you started a journal, a log or a jar? I would love to know.
Things catching my eye this week:
In an effort to get out my pens, inks, and maybe even the paints I have signed up for the Inchie Challenge which starts in August. A simple idea, just draw, doodle, or paint a 2” square every day for 12 days. I will share my progress every week, promise.

Also, the lovely Kyle Gray is running a free High Vibes Reset, which starts on the 31st July.
The sign up page says:
