My thoughts

Hello Dear Friend,

Happy Sunday to you, I hope that your week has been joyful and full of moments of love and kindness. I have been busy working on some knitting commissions - tea cosies… One for an order and a couple for a local coffee shop that stocks my tea cosies and cafetiere covers. My second aqua therapy session went well, although I really felt it this week, hopefully he will go easier on me next week as I will be driving to Bath straight afterwards. As I write this Bertie is cuddled up on some woollies on my desk purring his paws off, he is such a sweetie, the world outside is very cloudy, and cold, what is with the weather at the moment, but the downpours have stopped. There have been more small landslips due to the rainfall, but thankfully none that will affect us.

Tea Cosy being blocked, once dry it will have the thermal wadding and lining fabric added.

One of the main roads into Niton this morning, now closed so it can be cleared.

But enough of island life, this week I wanted to talk about Soul Groups, thank you Anne for the prodding to get me to finish this piece.

Soul groups

Below is an overview of the generally acknowledged Soul Groups -

The following list of groups are from TheMindsJournal.com with a general description of them, just to give you some idea of the mixture of groups that may be out there. Anything in itallics is my own words, not theirs.

1. The Source – *I believe that this is the universal energy which we all come from and return to.

2. The Soul Community - The people who form your Soul Community are the ones who share the same lessons and themes in life as you. They are here to learn a particular lesson, share creative ideas, or bring inspiration. These people share the same philosophy in life as you. They might have struggled with the same problems as you. These people could be strangers whose significant encounters with you eased your mood after having a bad day. Or they could be teachers who impressed you while growing up.
Members of your Soul Community don’t necessarily stay with you all throughout your life. They could disappear once they have served their purpose of touching your life in a significant way. Thus, their number could be in the hundreds or thousands, depending on your chosen path. We meet members of this group almost every day, especially in social media communities.

3. The Soul Tribe – Shared purpose

4. The Soul Family – Immediate family

5. The Soulmates Group - Soulmates are the most significant group you will ever have to meet. When you meet members of the Soulmates Group, you will go through a spiritual awakening or experience a deeper spiritual connection. This is a small group that consists only of approximately 3 to 9 people who play a significant role in your life. Members in your Soulmates Group could include family, really close friends, or even lovers.

They are the people responsible for creating changes in your life and touch you to the core. They will reflect your deepest unconscious layers. They will either highlight the weaknesses that you need to work on, your soul’s purpose, or your greatest strengths. The connection you have with them is so strong they could either make you or break you. They challenge you and even push you to your limits.
When you first meet, feelings of familiarity are aroused, as if you have already met in a prior lifetime. Your Soulmates group is the one you trained and study within higher realms. It’s where you all agreed to learn the same lessons and help each other. You are the team, the gang, the fellowship that shares the same quest.

6. The Twin Flame – soul mate - *maybe there are many interpretations around the Twin Flame.

7. Personal Soul Group – wider group of souls, including pets.

So as you can see from the above pretty much everyone you come into contact with could fall into one or more of the above groupings. I think that this is where personal belief comes into play.

What do I believe?

I believe in reincarnation, I believe we plan this life before we return to the earth plane, and I believe that there are souls who we meet on our journey through life that have an impact. Some instantly, and others slowly, over time, or even after many years you may suddenly have an ‘aha’ moment and realise the point of a particular encounter.

I have had immediate connections with some people - I am sure you know what I mean. When you are in their company, you feel safe, you feel comfortable, you feel seen and heard. One of these people was a leader in one of the local Spiritualist Churches, he ran the development group, and I had always felt close to him. One day we had a workshop with a visiting medium, and everything was settling down as the medium walked around the room he suddenly stopped by me and Pete and said - you two were married in a previous life! The closeness suddenly made sense, that feeling of familiarity, it wasn’t anything to do with this lifetime, but a previous one.

Have you ever had such a feeling around someone? I would love to know.

Do I know what I planned for this life? No, I have no idea. That is part of it, there is still an element of free will, and that can change the direction you were headed. Or is it free will? Was it planned that you would make that decision all along? You could turn yourself inside out and into knots delving too deeply into the wheres and why-fores of any choice you make. Best not to think too deeply - take a deep breath, or maybe a few, and feel what the right choice would be for you.

Then go for it.

Know that you are surrounded by souls who are there to help guide you, or catch you, should you fall, surrounded by souls who chose to be with you during this lifetime, and beyond.
