Seen and Unseen - the world, and how we view it.
First, sorry for the slight pause, we have just moved house and I have only just been able to make my space creative again. It just did not feel right until we moved a few things around.
This time I want to speak about our world, how we interact with it and what we see, or don’t see.
Just down the road from where we now live, there is a van parked on a driveway. It always looks as if it has never moved. Covered in algae and muck, but the tyres look ok. Surely if it did not move at all the tyres would perish? It has led my wife to ponder if it moves and we just don’t notice its absence.
Would we notice the absence of something?
It is harder to see something that is not there.
This has led me to ponder the other dimensions of our world. Spirit, Angels, 3D, 5D worlds, if you search for the terms you will see them coming up with increasing frequency at the moment. It seems there is a powerful belief that we are moving from our current 3D world, into a more enlightened 4 or 5D world. A world where all the layers of vibrations and realms are accessible. This is being spoken of as the new Age of Aquarius, where heaven will be made real on earth.
How do we reach this state of bliss? The consensus is that we can achieve it by living a heart centered life, caring for the planet and each other as if we were one, and also by regular meditation. The meditation is to raise our vibrations so that we can be in tune with the other realms. Now I know this sounds a little flaky, but bear with me. If you think about it, everything has its own vibrations, every living organism resonates in its own way.
Even our life energy or Chi is resonating all the time. I am not sure what you believe about what happens when we die. Personally, I think that the energy that powers the physical body survives our death and goes on to a different dimension. Beyond the veil, if you like, able to pop back and offer guidance and help where needed. I have always found this a comforting thought. It meant that no matter how far apart I was from friends or family, no matter how alone I felt, I knew, I just knew that someone was watching over me. I may not always have been able to feel their presence, but hope and faith are powerful things.
Hope, faith and belief in the unseen elements of our world are almost essential to most religions. I cannot prove that there is a god or angels. We believe they are there. We trust that there is a higher power, god, divine spirit, mama Gaia, whatever you believe, there is that element of faith in the unseen.
My journey to connect with my angels, spirit and the higher realms is based on the belief that they exist. I cannot prove they are there, but I have had glimpses of the other realms. It is enough for me to continue to seek contact, to expand my consciousness into the higher vibrations.
Now that we have almost unpacked the boxes, cleared some of the clutter I can begin once again to focus on my spiritual quest. I have made it back to the Writers Hour, which is a little oasis of calm and productivity first thing in the morning. I missed it while we were moving. I am going to try once again to meditate every day; I have a few guided meditations in my inbox waiting for me.
I have also started work on my own unseen issues, the baggage we drag around with us from our past. As I have mentioned in previous missives, my brother died traumatically when he and I were very young. I have worked on some of those scars and laid a few issues to rest. But I see that there are many more layers that need attention. I have been working through Susannah Conway’s course ‘Tarot for your Inner Child’. Unfortunately, it started just before we moved house, so I only manged a few steps. Now I can work on it more consistently, and I think it will heal many old wounds. It is a lovely course designed to allow you to revisit your younger self, using meditation and the Tarot to guide you. As many of my traumas and blocks are from my early childhood, I hope that this can release some negative thinking and thought patterns, to allow me to move forward positively.
I started this by talking about the unseen in the world around us, but it seems to have become a ramble about dealing with the unseen elements within myself.
Maybe that is where our journey should begin. I feel we need to quieten the voices and patterns in our own heads and hearts before we can fully expand our consciousness.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this, do you agree? How would you approach the unseen in our lives?
As ever, may your angels and guides watch over and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light
Tracy
