November Reading
Where should our attention be this month?
Hello, Dear Friend,
How are you doing today? It has been a while since I picked up the cards, but here goes.
It is the time of the month for the group tarot reading, and I will, as usual, be using the *Llewellyn Tarot Deck.
Are you ready? Then I will dive right in…
This month’s spread
I have used my usual three-card spread, Embrace/Accept/Release, or Let Go. It seems to work for most of you, as ever, take what you feel is aimed at you. Disregard anything that doesn’t fit, and above all, if the card speaks to you differently, then go with that.
The Cards
Card 1 - Embrace - Four of Swords
On the face of it, this feels like a very dark card. It is gloomy looking, is it possibly a crypt? But as with most things in the Tarot, it has two sides. It seems as though the warrior has fallen in battle and has been laid upon their tomb. But do not fret.
This card is just asking you to take a break, and what better rest than to take a nap, or a deep sleep? Lay down your swords, metaphorically I hope, or take a step back from your battles and cares. Sleep if you need it. Rest if you need to.
Ask yourself - How can I switch off? How can I rest? Embrace the need to take a break, and enjoy it.
Card 2 - Accept - Six of Cups
This is such a joyous card after the last one. 😁
It shows happy times, bountiful harvest, flowers, and fruitfulness, an innocent time perhaps, when things seemed safe and comfortable—a time from our childhood perhaps, when everything was simple and easy.
In the position of ‘Accept’, maybe it is asking us to accept those memories, accept that there was a time when you felt safe and comfortable. Do you need to feel that again now? Do you need to go back to your roots? What would you like to bring from those memories into your present-day life? Can you reconnect with friends and family, remember the good times and perhaps make some new memories? It is in your hands.
Card 3 - Let Go or Release - Nine of Cups
I love this card; the lady sitting on the side of the stream looks so serene, but she also seems to be looking straight into your soul, asking questions. It is an idyllic scene, lush woodland growth, the flowers, the bee, and the flowing water. Do any of these mean something to you?
The stream goes in two directions, offering a choice perhaps. This card presents a peaceful, calm atmosphere. Let go of your worries and allow yourself to take a break. Live in the moment, celebrate your wins, your successes, yourself.
You are worth celebrating.
Summary
So to sum up this month’s cards -
Embrace - The need for rest. Take a break, you have earned it, and you probably need it. Maybe go on a holiday, or just turn the outside world off for a while if you can.
Accept - Accept the friendships around you, renew connections and make some new memories.
Let Go - Let go of the judgement of others and celebrate you, spend some time with people who lift you up.
All in all, take a break, kick back and celebrate all you have achieved, all you have experienced, and make plans to meet up with friends.
As ever, this is just my interpretation, and it is not set in stone; take what you need from the reading and use it. If the cards resonate with you differently, go with it. Your heart and soul know what is best for you. Follow the nudges and messages from Spirit and the angels.
Remember, the more you pay attention, the more you will see.
I will be back on Sunday with my usual letter to you dear friend, until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,
Guided By Angels will always be free to subscribers. If you enjoy it, click the like button or share it with someone who might enjoy it. There is the option now to become a paid subscriber if you would like to support these Sunday Letters in that way, or you could consider buying me a cup of tea.
I definitely run on tea.
Thank you for reading and for subscribing.
Until next time, bye for now.
