Hello Dear Friend,
Welcome to another Sunday (yes, I know it is Monday) missive from my heart to yours. How are you doing this week? I hope life has been kind to you, and that you are doing well. I am doing ok. We have confirmed that a lot of my symptoms are a side effect of the morphine, hopefully, they will pass. In the meantime, I will just have to navigate them as best as I can. I see lots of short naps in my future. ;0)
This week I want to discuss Kindness.
Kindness
Somehow that word feels a little wishy-washy, like being ‘Nice’ to people, it sits on the shelf, looking a little uncomfortable, saying ‘I am a good thing, really.’
How often do you practice kindness or niceness in your day-to-day life?
Do you hold doors for folks?
Do you buy a pay-it-forward coffee at your local coffee shop?
Have you offered to help someone in the street who looks as if they are struggling?
That last one can be scary, as not everyone is trustworthy in this world. but even if the person says no, it may still help them to know that there are still kind people in the world, who are willing to help.
Kindness doesn’t need to be a big gesture, it can be a smile - we all know how contagious they can be, it could be complimenting someone on their hair/outfit/smile… The list is long, and I am sure you can think of a few more.
The last time I wrote about Kindness was way back in Sept 2021 - Kindness and its impact on everyday life. With everything the way it is in the world at the moment, politics, wars, and unrest, it feels as though we need a gentle reminder that we are all part of the same cosmic energy. The spark of the universe that is inside us is also inside every other living thing on this planet, fuelling the same hopes, fears, and dreams.
We are more connected than we think.

So will you become a RAKtivist this year? It is a real word.
The Random Acts of Kindness website has a page full of Kindness Quotes, and if you sign up for their newsletter they will pop one into your inbox every day, or you could follow them on social media, the links are at the bottom of their home page.
Until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,

Tracy. In class this morning I was going to talk about the idea that words, spoken aloud, are vibrations that are sent out into the Universe and that those vibrations settle into the bodies of everyone around us, whether they hear us or not. Thank you for this message about Kindness.
