What will they say?

Hello Dear Friend,

How are you doing today? How is it July tomorrow? The weeks seem to be going slowly and then bam! All of a sudden we are at the end of June. The year seems to be racing away, or is it just that I am too busy or just not paying attention? I will ponder that one…

Anyhoo, it is the time of the month for the group tarot reading, I will be using the *Sacred Forest Oracle Deck from Denise Linn.

Are you ready? Then I will dive right in…

This month’s spread

I have used a different three-card spread this month, The Past/The Present/The Future. Hopefully, it will work for most of you, as ever take what you feel is aimed at you. Disregard anything that doesn’t fit, and above all, if the card speaks to you in a different way, then go with that.

The Cards

Card 1 - The Past - or the origins of your challenge.

Standing stones have power, whether you believe that or not, there is something, an energy if you will, present within the Stones, and a feeling that stepping into the centre of the Stones is a sacred act. They speak of a journey, of obstacles, of finding a way through and as this card has shown itself in the Past position you have already begun this journey. You may not be conscious of it, or you may only just now be feeling that awareness, but you have begun something. It could be a spiritual or a physical journey, but at the end of it, you will have transitioned from one way of being to another.

The card says - The Spirit of the Standing Stones says: A sacred journey is ahead. Deeper meaning is waiting to be discovered. You are safe.

But don’t forget this journey has already begun, you are on your way…

Card 2 - The Present - or where you currently are.

I am not sure I can paraphrase the guidebook in a better way, so it says:

This card is the harbinger of delight. Celebrate and have fun! Embrace life, yourself, and others. Say yes today! Soar to the clouds and let your doubts dissolve. All is well. It’s simple: Your purpose in life is to experience happiness! That’s all that’s required of you as a soul. You do not need to be unhappy to please another.
Whatever your circumstances, there’s always something that can bring you delight, and what you put your attention on will grow. When you focus on the areas of your life that bring you happiness, these areas will prosper.
One of the fastest paths to true pleasure is through sharing and giving, so give of your heart and share your love. Happiness spreads to others like wildfire and can help heal the world. Dance and sing with abandon: Joy is your spiritual birthright. Affirm, Happiness and ecstasy flow through me wildly and freely.

The Spirit of the Bluebird says: All is well. Say yes to life and let your doubts dissolve. Don’t wait until the future, live life fully now. You do not need to struggle or suffer to grow - you can grow leaps and bounds in joy!

Card 3 - What the Future Will Bring.

Again, the message in the guidebook is spot on - just bear in mind that this is the future it is talking about, be patient and let the future unfold in its own time.

The Guidebook says:

The message of this card is to be quiet and still. The time is not right to go forward now. It’s hard to see what lies ahead, and the truth of things may not be as they intially appear. Events that seem one way may, in fact, be completely different.
Just as the egret exhibits patience as he waits for a fish to emerge, so too must you be still and allow the truth to emerge. In this state of obscured visibility, your imagination can surge forward and spark your intuituion. If you can wait long enough, your sixth sense will be ignited. Listen to your inner yearnings and pay attention to those seemingly random thoughts.
Water represents emotions, feelings, and subconscious. When the water becomes condensed as a fog, it obscures the true shape of things. We can’t see clearely the way we can in the light. If we move forward, we risk getting caught in acidic, waterlogged soil and decaying plant matter. Heed the warning here to not allow unexamined emotions to overwhelm your growth.

The Spirit of Foggy Bog says: Have patience. Wait until the fog lifts before taking action. The truth will emerge in time; you just need to go deeper. Follow your intuition.

Summary

So to sum up this month’s cards -
The Past, or the origins of your challenge - The Standing Stones are letting you know that your journey has begun, that you are on your way and that you are safe.
The Present, or where you currently are - The Bluebird Spirit is asking you to celebrate you and embrace joy and happiness. Don’t hold back, life life to the full now.
What the Future Will Bring - The Foggy Bog is here to remind you to have patience. All that is worth anything is worth waiting for. Listen to your intuition, listen to your heart, and do not rush into anything you cannot see clearly.

As ever these are just my ramblings and are not set in stone, take what you need from the reading and use it. As ever, if the cards resonate with you in a different way, go with it. Your heart and soul know what is best for you. Follow the nudges and messages from Spirit and the angels, remember, the more you pay attention, the more you will see.
