Hello Dear Friend,
I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. As I sit and write this missive to you, I am watching the crows foraging in the fields behind our house. It is a beautiful sunny day, with blue skies and lots of new growth everywhere. Spring seems to finally, really, be just around the corner. Jo has returned to the allotment, we have potatoes chitting in the conservatory, and the energy seems to have shifted from hibernation to renewal.
Is it the same where you are? I hope so.
There is no homework or tasks this week. This week I want to discuss working with your intuition. I know I talk a lot about following your intuition and listening to the little voices which offer you guidance, and I don’t want to bore you with it, but it is important. The connections to spirit, to the energies in the universe, and to one another, are vital, I feel, to creating a better world. A world where we approach one another with love and curiosity, rather than with suspicion or hate. There are too many of those negative energies already in our world, we do not need to feed the darker energies with our own angst.
At the heart of it all, we are all the same, we all carry our own piece of universal energy, and we all want the best for our friends, family, and our community. We need to tap into our intuition, to awaken our souls, our spirit, and our energies to forge strong connections with one another and to reconnect with the earth and nature.
Intuition - Is it just your Gut speaking or is there more to it?
Intuition.
I talk about it a lot in these letters.
Do you follow yours?
Do you listen out for it?
How often is it right?
Whilst writing this letter to you I fell down a few research rabbit holes.
Did you know there have been scientific studies into intuition? I didn’t, not really, I mean to say, they research almost anything these days - so why not intuition as well…
A fascinating one was carried out by the University of Edinburgh’s Koestler Parapsychology Department. They grouped volunteers into receivers and senders, the senders watched a video and ‘sent’ those images to the receivers. So there is a little of the ESP about this as well. They found that there was a 7% increase over and above just plain chance in their results. Intriguing isn’t it? Other places have studied high-flying CEOs and found that those who scored highest on the intuition test (now I am not sure what they asked to get the scores), also performed the best in their business fields.
If you are interested and want to follow down the rabbit holes too, there are links at the bottom of this email to a couple of articles I found about this and to the Koestler Parapsychology Unit in Edinburgh.
Strengthening Your Intuition
Like any other activity, it takes practice to hone your intuition.

You need to pay attention. Listen when you get those nudges. Biddy Tarot has a blog post about strengthening your intuition from a tarot reader’s perspective. But the basic information is spot on and she sums it up in this excerpt from her blog.
Your Intuition Is A Reflection Of Your Subconcious Mind
Think of the many thousands — millions — of conversations, interactions, and experiences you’ve had in your lifetime. Regardless of how long you’ve been on this planet, and how good your memory recall is — you’ll never be able to remember everything consciously. The majority of our experiences are stored in the subconscious mind.
As you move throughout your day, the various things you do and people you connect with stir memories deep within your subconscious. Though you may not realize it, your intuition — your subconscious — is constantly being activated. Your subconscious memories are attached to feelings, and those feelings are attached to consequences.
This is why you get that “gut feeling” when something just isn’t right, or why you suspect a person, place, or experience might just open the door to something wonderful. They all trigger memories, feelings, and consequences that you’ve already experienced, in one way or another. They bring to light the things buried deep in your unconscious mind, and give you a clue as to what you can expect when similar circumstances present themselves

Things catching my eye this week:
A few courses are happening which might interest you
Self-Compassion Challenge with Joanne Bell of Write to Thrive. This runs from the 28th of February - the 2nd of March, the details are here if you are interested in joining this free challenge.
Are you curious about the term Awakening?

Dr. Shuna Marr has a course called *The Ascension Path, which details all the stages of spiritual awakening. This course guides you through the jargon with a kind, no-nonsense approach, I have found it very helpful. I have spoken about Shuna’s courses before and she is someone whom I have faith in to guide you to a deeper understanding of your spiritual awakening.
It is a self-taught course, with lifetime access. But, if you prefer to be guided through a course, I have good news.
Shuna is running a Live Challenge Round from 24th February - 5th March.
This Challenge round is for everyone who has bought the course and at the moment there is an offer on the cost until the challenge starts on the 24th of February. Currently, it is £47 (so you need to purchase the course by the 23rd), when the challenge starts on the 24th it will go back to its usual £75.
So if it is something you have been thinking about, now might be the time to jump in and just do it.
I also wanted to share The Positive News magazine and website this is a refreshing change to all the doom and gloom which is the usual fare.
So I guess I fibbed at the beginning, there is homework after all…
If you want to, pay attention this week to where you are nudged or guided. Did it benefit you? If it did are you paying more attention now? I love hearing how you get on, so please feel free to let me know in the comments, or drop me an email.
Until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,
Tracy
