Hello Dear Friend,
How are you this week? The weather has been a little weird for us, it has gone from heatwave to torrential downpours and cold winds, as someone put it last week ‘winter in July’. How British am I? Talking about the weather… Lol.
I hope you have had a good week, I recently read a post from a writer I know where they do something to celebrate the end of each week - good or bad. You can read her words here - Viktoria Rendes - A Bubbly Legacy.
Do you do anything to mark the passing of the week? I must confess I don’t - maybe I should start. A summary of the week for your journal perhaps? A long walk through the woods to clear your energy? Or a visit to the beach, digging your toes into the warm sand as the sun shines down and the waves gently lap the shore…
Grounding Yourself
However you get through the week, the world leaves its impressions and its energies on you. Your energy field is literally like a lint roller, lots of bits of other people’s ‘fluff’ - their thoughts, feelings, words and actions, they are all attached to you in some form or another. Allow yourself some time at the end of every week to shed those bits of fluff and cleanse your energy field. Do you have a preferred way to achieve this? If you do, would you like to share in the comments? Your way may help someone else, or at least give them something else to try…
I usually find that meditation and visualisation work for me, as you know it is tricky for me to go on a long walk, so my imagination is my friend. There are many videos on YouTube which offer a grounding meditation, have a look around and find one which works for you.

By the By - (Beware internet searches…) Did you know that there is a company which makes ‘Grounding Sheets’, designed to ground you whilst you sleep… Nope, nor me. The page on their website that explains the Science behind the sheets makes for fascinating reading, it can be found here. So, I guess if you haven’t the time to fit a grounding routine into your day, you can now buy a sheet and be grounded while you sleep. 😁😁
