Hello Dear Friend,
I apologise for this letter being a little tardy, I have been discombobulated* over the last few days. My heart is heavy this week. You will be aware of the current world situation, my prayers and thoughts go out to the people of Ukraine and their neighbours.
*try saying it aloud and then writing it down. It really is more satisfying to say out loud than to write it.
In this letter I will, as usual, share a few newsletters that have struck a cord this past week, and as promised there is the monthly Tarot spread for a little gentle guidance.
Not surprisingly most letters have covered the situation in Ukraine. Some that stood out were this one by Candace Chellow, who writes Motley Mystic, Cultivating a Ukrainian State of Mind
True power, as Dr. David Hawkins once observed, comes through a sense of unity and collaboration among people. Force can change the course of history for awhile, but in the end, only the true power of those higher vibrations of love, joy and peace can bring any lasting change.
It is a really good read, and speaks to all those of us who are trying to raise their vibrations and consciousnesses to help create a better, brighter world.
Diana Butler Bass had a very unique take on the situation between Putin and his Ukrainian ambitions. You can read that on her newsletter The Cottage, Next Year in Kyiv
The conflict in Ukraine is all about religion and what kind of Orthodoxy will shape Eastern Europe and other Orthodox communities around the world (especially in Africa). Religion. This is a crusade, recapturing the Holy Land of Russian Orthodoxy, and defeating the westernized (and decadent) heretics who do not bend the knee to Moscow’s spiritual authority.
Scary times we live in. Where ever you are, I ask that your angels watch over you, lending their protection and love.
Monthly Tarot Reading
Without further ado, here is the monthly Tarot reading for you all. As before, if it strikes a chord, please get in touch, either via email or in the comments below. I would love to know if it resonates.
This month I chose a slightly different approach, asking the following questions.
What actions do I need to take to manifest my goals?
What new opportunities are emerging?
What does my soul need from me right now?
The cards were as follows:
What actions do I need to take to manifest my goals?
I pulled the Knight of Cups, a powerful, confident card, showing an image of a man and horse surging out of the sea. This is a card of action and opportunities.
Opportunities to learn, perhaps via a friend or a collaboration. The heart of this card is that through imagination and knowledge you can find you own true path. So search out around you, there may be opportunities you never realised were there.
Be aware of your emotions to though, don’t be too quick to judge others. What new opportunities are emerging?
For this question I pulled firstly The Horned One, and for clarification I pulled the Knight of Pentacles. The Horned One, is the devil card, but it is not bad news. To me the image on this card brings to mind being in tune with nature, with all its instincts and impulses. The call of the wild mixed with the ancestral memory. Wisdom from your subconscious, thinking from your gut, if you will. Channel your inner special agent Gibbs. (Sorry I couldn’t resist the NCIS reference there.)
Not a very clear card for opportunities, unless you have a burning urge to run off into the woods. If you do - run free my blessed ones.
So I pulled the Knight of Pentacles for some clarity. My initial thoughts were that he was on a quest, ready for anything, being guided by instinct. But looking deeper it reflects a methodical approach, commitment and perseverance. So how does this relate to the question? I think it means that opportunities will appear if you set realistic goals, success can be yours with patience and persistence. What does my soul need from me right now?
This card was The Sun, a bright energetic card. It encourages us to be present in the everyday moments. To approach life with a childlike innocence and a playful manner, enjoying nature, learning new skills through play.
So I encourage you to enjoy the blessings in your life, to be creative through play and enjoy the pleasures nature provides. Above all - don’t overthink things, allow yourself the freedom to play, not to take yourself too seriously.
Over all, a very positive reading for March. The over-riding theme is of using your imagination to be creative and play, enjoying nature, and trusting your instincts. Opportunities may arise if you set realistic goals and work with patience and persistence.
If you have a question you would like me to ask next month, please get in touch.
I hope that you all have a calm, peaceful week, full of joy.
Until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,
Tracy
