Hello Dear Friend,
As I sit and write this today (yes, I am running late again…) I am filled with joy and love.
When this week started I wasn’t sure where it was going, not that I ever do really. I had the usual things pencilled in my calendar, meet-ups online with friends, and a group coaching call with Dallas Woodburn. There was, however, something special happening at the weekend.
The London Writers Salon
Last week the London Writers Salon turned 2. This epic supportive space has been running since the lockdowns began in 2020, and to celebrate they hosted 24 hours of writing sprints, chasing 8am around the globe.
A what? I hear you ask, well a writing sprint is a session where we gather in silence, via zoom, for about 45-50 minutes to write. Or think. Or write letters. They aim to stick to Neil Gaiman’s rule for writing to avoid distraction:
“you can do absolutely nothing, or write.”
(It turns out after a while writing is more interesting than doing nothing).
Who knew that sitting, writing in silence, witnessed by a screen full of people from around the world, could be so nurturing and supportive. It is amazing. There can be hundreds of people in the room, but it never feels crowded. We are all bound by the same thing - an urge to create words, poems, art, just a need to express ourselves. I thank my guides and angels for the day I found them, I feel truly blessed and have met some amazing people.
Dr Shun Marr - Heart Space Room Challenge
You may remember I have mentioned the wonderful Dr. Shuna Marr before, alongside her daughter she runs Spiritual Awakenings Support
This week she is running a free mini version of her Heart Space Room course.
As Shuna says :
This challenge introduces you to the Heart Space Room, which is a SAFE SPACE to:
sort through emotions and release old beliefs
meet those parts of yourself that got stuck in the past
free yourself from anything keeping you fearful and small
This is such an empowering tool, with so many uses, and I am sooooo looking forward to sharing it with you.
Dr. Shuna Marr, March 2022
It is a wonderful introduction to the work that they do.
It will run from 28 March - 2 April, with live videos every day and the chance to win prizes too.
The Heart Space Room Challenge begins tomorrow, so if you are interested, best sign up today.
My wins this week
I have had a wonderful week. My last assignment for the OU course came back with a great mark. I always send them off thinking ‘I haven’t done very well, but at least it is in’, and so far this year my marks have pleasantly surprised me. Thanks to my tutor for a really fast turnaround time, too.
I have re-ignited my love of making knitted bunnies and bears as well. I had forgotten how much fun they are to bring into the world ready for someone to adopt them.
I also volunteered to help co-host some of the LWS24 hour sprint sessions. I won’t lie, I was nervous. We had a script and a schedule, but it was all wonderfully choreographed and organised, so that when I actually had to do my bit, the words flowed. It was a very uplifting, happy, joyous, wonderful, mad, zany, day filled with pets, sheep, lambs, dancing and much silliness. Oh, and maybe some writing…
I’m not sure there are enough words to describe the good it did for my heart and soul. I once described the London Writers Salon as the family you never knew you needed, and its true. It is a truly amazing community. To those other hosts who may be reading this letter - Thank you, it has been an honour and a joy to write, dance and sing alongside you. Yes, even though I was wearing a tea-cosy on my head for some of it…
Really.
I was. The theme for one of the hours was the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, so I sat wearing my cosy proudly, head bobbing along to the sound track to Alice in Wonderland.
I am still smiling now.
Whatever you are doing this weekend, or this week, I urge you to find some joy, something to make you smile and laugh. Whether it is meeting up with friends, online or in real life, watching silly videos on bookface or youtube.
Go, find your joy, feel the sun on your skin, let the world lift your heart and soul with its magic.
Please share in the comments what your wins were for the week, or how you found some joy or laughter. I would love to know.
Until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,
Tracy

I had the most wonderful time sharing the joy and head bopping with you. It was magical, and you are a fantastic host. Thank you for holding space for us! xoxo
