Hello Dear Friend,

How are you? Well, I hope.

Firstly, an apology for the radio silence over the last couple of weeks, I have been under the weather with a flare-up of my ME, which has hit me hard this time. I am thankful to say I am coming out the other side now and normal service will resume, firstly with the monthly tarot reading below and then on Sunday with the usual Sunday Letter.

So now it’s time for the monthly community Tarot reading. This Monthly Tarot reading will now come out in a separate email on the last day of the month. Just in time for all you organized folks who like to plan for the coming month. I always want to do that, but it never quite happens… ;0)

The Cards

Card 1 - Seven of Swords

This is a tricky card, if you look in the guidebooks it will tell you it is a card of deceit, the figure is shown stealing the swords in the middle of the night. That is, however, not what I saw when I first looked at this card. I saw hard work, someone labouring long into the night, perhaps on a secret project. Ask yourself - why are you hiding it? Does it need to be hidden?

Card 2 - The Horned One

This is another card that can be loaded with a negative focus, the Horned One, is the Devil card in most Tarot decks. A change mostly due to the rise of Christianity.
The Horned One is an important figure from folk mythology, he is the protector of animals and god of the hunt - and by the by, a vegetarian too. He oversaw the ecological balance between man and his environment.
Looking at this card I feel the call of the wild, a tapping into primal knowledge and ancestral memories to spot the patterns in your life. Have those patterns been helpful or harmful? Maybe by embracing your wilder side you can break free from those patterns which no longer serve you.

Can you see this in yourself at the moment?
Or are you just stepping into this strength?

Card 3 - The Fool

I love this card, it has such an optimistic feel, full of excitement and the pull towards adventure and exploration of the world. This card represents the beginning of the Fool’s journey through the Major Arcana, jumping blindly into the future with trust and hope.
With the question for this card being ‘What You Still Need To Do’ I feel it is asking if you are ready to take the leap?
Are you?
Are you ready to explore new possibilities with an open mind, testing, exploring and chasing rainbows?
Ask yourself what are you hoping for.
What are you afraid of?
Will you try anyway? Only you know if you are ready to step out on the next stage of your journey.

There was also a ‘Jumper Card’ - The Three of Cups

A ‘Jumper Card’ is one that literally just jumps out of the deck whilst I am shuffling, it is determined to get its message across. The Three of Cups to me feels like a celebration card, with the three maidens dancing under the moonlight. It speaks of friendship, support, and encouragement.

This card is asking what connections you value the most, and how have those friendships shaped and supported you. It is also asking you to invest in people, cherish those around you, I guess in short be the best kind of friend you can be. The encouragement and support of good friends is invaluable, so nurture those connections with gratitude and love.

Summary

Overall, quite a positive reading again this month.
The cards are saying that you have learnt or are learning to listen to the wild nature of your soul, after a long period of hard work, perhaps even secret work. Does this project need to remain a secret?
The Fool comes in to remind us of the cyclic nature of the world and our journey upon it, now is the time to look forwards, to take the leap into the unknown with trust and hope in our hearts. With the support of our friends, the road will be easier to travel, but remember friendship is a two-way street, nurture those you value as you would like to be nurtured.

As ever these are just my ramblings and are not set in stone, take what you need from the reading and use it. If the cards resonate with you in a different way, go with it. Your heart and soul know what is best for you. Follow the nudges and messages from Spirit and the angels, remember, the more you pay attention, the more you will see.
