Hello Dear Friend,
Firstly, yes I know it is not Sunday… ;0) I was caught up doing something yesterday and did not allow enough time to finish this missive to you, I hope you will forgive my tardiness. ( I wrote this bit on Monday.. and yes I know it is now Wednesday…)
Good morning, I hope you are well and not too blown away by the strong winds which battered us on the Isle of Wight Saturday. The winds reached about 50 mph at its height, which is quite strong for us in July.
Thank you for all the comments on last week’s Sunday Letter, and apologies for any earworms which may have resulted from the songs…
Gratitude

This week I want to explore Gratitude.
So how does it figure in your life?
Does it figure in your life?
Is it something that only comes up in special moments, or do you regularly take time to be grateful? There are many ways to incorporate gratitude into your life, below are a few ideas:
Journaling
Do you Journal? This is a great way to explore all the things you are grateful for, even if it is just waking up in the morning to another brand-new day. If you do a search on the internet you will find all sorts of journals especially formulated to help you, but all you really need is a notebook and a pen. Or even just a notes app on your phone…
A Gratitude Jar
The basic idea behind this is to write something down, every day, that you are grateful for. It could be simple,
I am grateful the bus was running on time so I got to my meeting
I am grateful I have enough to be able to donate to the local food bank.
I am grateful to see a beautiful butterfly today.
I am grateful the sun shone today.
A key thing to remember with writing down moments of gratitude is that it will resonate more deeply with you if you add a ‘WHY’ it made you feel grateful.
I am grateful - because…
But Remember
Gratitude does not have to be practised first thing in the morning, it can be done at any time of the day, maybe the best time for you would be to write down what you are grateful for at the end of the day, it may help you fall asleep in a positive frame of mind.
“Gratitude can pull you out of a negative spiral, and set you on a course of a positive direction that will enable you to escape despair and disconnection, and shift your consciousness to being the change you want to be and bring into this world.”
Louie Schwartzberg
Things catching my eye this week:
Lorna Byrne is offering a Free Online Course titled - The Path to Self Love It is a course in Self-Love based on her book *Love From Heaven If you have never come across Lorna before, she is well worth looking up, with various books which chart her interaction with the Angelic Realms and how they have helped her in her life.
This TEDx talk by Ramat Tejani, on The Transformative Power of a Personal Manifesto. I especially love the monthly themes which she mentions in the talk, and her fortnightly emails are fabulous too.
The TEDx talk blurb says: She is the CEO (that’s the Chief Encouragement Officer) at The Inspiration Box, an organisation dedicated to encouraging intentional personal development. She’s a pocket cheerleader for anyone that needs it and believes in the power of helping others to discover, embrace and nurture the truest version of themselves
Short but hopefully sweet this week.
Until next time, as ever, may your angels and guides watch over you and protect you until we meet again.
Love and Light,
Tracy

Thank you so much for this, Tracy! Each morning, I write out one gratitude and one success. It sets the tone for my day. In December, I burn the "lists" in a fire on the Winter Solstice as a remembrance of the year's blessings. Whatever ritual or habit works for someone, I say "Do it!" Being grateful shifts the energy and brings us to higher ground.
You make me giggle with your opening 😂 ps I love you Tracy o brien & im soooo grateful for you being in my life 💖
