Hello Dear Friend,
Wherever you are, however you celebrate, if you celebrate, I am sending love and light from my heart to yours today and every day. We will be having our usual quiet Christmas, just us. All our family lives on the mainland, and traveling can be tricky at this time of year. So we will be indulging in lots of zoom catch-ups with the family, alongside some reading, some film watching, and Christmas socks cast on for me and Jo will be sewing - she is currently working on a Beth Russel design tapestry cushion cover.
This week’s letter is short, just to share a poem that popped up on Facebook this week, a video of some Christmas Harp music, and a Winnie the Pooh video. I will be back next weekend with two emails, the first the monthly tarot spread - I will look for a nice one for the year ahead, and the usual Sunday Letter on New Year’s Day.
Keep safe, keep warm and stay in touch, I am always at the end of an email or message if you need a hug.
A gentle thought
This is a poem that popped up on Facebook this week, I cannot find any more information about the author, so if you know, please share.
If Christmas is hard,
If you’ve lost someone dear.
Just look in your heart,
And you’ll know they’re still here.
The star in the sky,
The light falling snow.
The robin outside,
It seems like they know.
If this is a time,
When you’re struggling through.
Just do what you can,
For what matters is you.
There’s no need to be merry,
There’s no need to be bright.
Just do what you can,
It will all be alright.Copyright Lorna Gibson.
